Welcome to the Guitar Guru Guys blog. On this blog we will be discussing various methods of guitar repair as well taking questions on how to do certain repairs. I have been playing guitar for the past 25 years and working for one of the major guitar manufacturers for the past 13 years. My cohort and partner in crime (Guru 2) is in the same boat as far as experience. One of the things that we have noticed about guitar repair is that it can be very expensive. Don't get us wrong, there are certain situations that you need a pro to look at something, but in a lot of cases, it's a matter of a little know how on your own. This is where we come in. We want to try and save you as much money as possible. If you have a question, just ask us and we will be happy to try and guide you through whatever situation comes up. Whether you are changing strings, cutting a new nut, swapping pick-ups, caps...whatever, odds are one and or both of us will have an answer for you. Thanks for looking and please pass the word.
